Admission/Enrollment Policy
Ph: 281-398-8031
All students are eligible to apply for grades 6-12 if they reside in any of the following school districts: Aldine, Bellville, Brenham, Cleveland, Conroe, Crosby, Cypress Fairbanks, Dayton, Fort Bend, Hempstead, Houston, Huffman, Humble, Katy, Klein, Lamar, Liberty, Magnolia, Montgomery, Navasota, New Caney, Royal, Sealy, Sheldon, Splendora, Spring Branch, Spring, Stafford, Tomball and Waller.
Currently enrolled students in good standing expressing a desire to return are automatically enrolled for the following school year. Vacancies in each class are then determined.
Applications for admissions for new students will only be accepted through the school's website. Forms for each Fall Semester are accepted from February 1 through March 31, for lottery held in April. We will continue to accept applications for any additional openings through January of the concurrent school year.
Lottery Explanation: If there are more eligible applicants than available spaces, then a lottery (conducted in April) will be used. A name is drawn for each vacancy that exists, and each applicant whose name is drawn is offered admission. The remaining names are then drawn and placed on a waiting list in the order they were drawn. If a vacancy arises before the commencement of the school year or during the school year, the individual on the waiting list with the lowest number assignment will be offered admission.
A student will not be considered for enrollment that has a current or pending placement in a disciplinary program. All such placements must be completed by the student before they will be considered for enrollment. Failure to disclose this type of information will void a student’s application for enrollment.
How the application/enrollment process works:
1. Complete the online Admission Form.
2. Once the online form is received, an Enrollment Packet will need to be filled out if there is room in the student(s) grade level.
3. When the completed Enrollment Packet is returned, an orientation with the parent and student may be scheduled. The student handbook will be issued, a tour of the school, and any/all questions from the parent and student will be answered at this time.
Please call 281-398-8031 Ext. 100 with any phone number(s) or e-mail changes after submission of your application.
