Welcome to my classroom! My name is Mrs. Hernandez and I teach 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts (ELA). I have been teaching for 10 years, with experience in both elementary and junior high education. I am passionate about helping students become critical thinkers while also gaining confidence in their skills as readers and writers. I believe reading is one of the most important skills a student can develop, as it opens the door to lifelong learning and success. I look forward to partnering with families to make this a rewarding and engaging school year for every student.
