We have contracted with DTK Facility Services to clean the school nightly with Virex, an EPA approved disinfectant that kills all viruses including Covid 19.
Prevention of disease transmission in our schools will take all of us working together. The best way to prevent the spread of illness in our schools is to stay home when ill. Students, employees, and visitors are required to stay home when they are ill. Other prevention measures include avoiding close contact with others when possible and washing/sanitizing hands often, especially before eating, after using the restroom, entering and exiting public spaces, after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing, and after coming in contact with highly touched objects such as doorknobs, handrails, etc. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue and washing hands after is also a must. Wearing a cloth face covering or mask in common areas and when interacting with others can help prevent the transmission of COVID-19.
